I was just walking alone one afternoon,
Not sure where I was going, maybe nowhere soon.
There were hills around me, and the sky looked wide—
The kind of view, that makes you feel small inside.
And then I saw them, Just like that—
Daffodils ! A whole bunch. Imagine that…
They were standing together by the lake,
Moving a little, like they were half awake.
Thousands of them, maybe more,
Lined up all along the shore.
I kind of just stood there and stared,
Not sure why I even cared.
The waves nearby tried to be seen,
But the flowers were winning, so calm, so green.
I was smiling. I didn’t plan to.
But something about it just… went right through.
It felt simple, quiet, not too deep—
Like a thought you hold before you sleep.
Even now, when I’m doing nothing at alI
That moment sometimes makes a small call.
Out of nowhere, I remember the view—
Yellow petals, the sky, and something new.
It’s weird how small things stay,
But I like it that way…
