I was just walking alone one afternoon,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Not sure where I was going, maybe nowhere soon.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0There were hills around me, and the sky looked wide\u2014\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The kind of view, that makes you feel small inside.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

And then I saw them, Just like that\u2014\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Daffodils ! A whole bunch. Imagine that\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

They were standing together by the lake,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Moving a little, like they were half awake.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Thousands of them, maybe more,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Lined up all along the shore.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I kind of just stood there and stared,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Not sure why I even cared.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The waves nearby tried to be seen,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

But the flowers were winning, so calm, so green.<\/span><\/p>\n

I was smiling. I didn\u2019t plan to.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

But something about it just\u2026 went right through.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It felt simple, quiet, not too deep\u2014\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Like a thought you hold before you sleep.<\/span><\/p>\n

Even now, when I\u2019m doing nothing at alI\u00a0 <\/span>
\n<\/span>That moment sometimes makes a small call.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0Out of nowhere, I remember the view\u2014<\/span><\/p>\n

Yellow petals, the sky, and something new.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s weird how small things stay,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

But I like it that way\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n
